Dear Parents/Carers,
On Sunday the Premier of Victoria made a number of announcements regarding changes to restrictions and attendance at Early Childhood Education settings and schools.
The current settings for our Early Learning Centre remain the same until 26 October.
Remote learning will continue for the school sector until Monday 18 October when some year levels begin a staggered return as shown below.

When students are not onsite they will continue with remote learning. Please note that this plan depends upon final advice from health authorities closer to each stage.
More detailed information will be provided prior to the return dates.
Hard copy work books for children in ELC and Prep – Year 4 must be collected from the Agora on Friday 1 October between 10am and 1pm.
Attendance at the ELC and onsite supervision for those who have parents who are permitted workers and those who are vulnerable will continue – updated permits will be required for the new dates.
Vaccination
Getting vaccinated is the best way to be protected from and prevent the spread of COVID-19. I encourage all students aged 12 years and over and their parents/carers to get vaccinated as soon as possible. To book a vaccination appointment go to coronavirus.vic.gov.au
Mental health and wellbeing support for students over the holidays
Mental health support, resources and advice are available for students and families to access over the holidays.
Two factsheets (attached) for students and families have been developed to support the mental health and wellbeing of students during this time.
These have been developed to support school students and families over the school holidays to:
- support positive mental health and wellbeing of students
- identify signs that students may need mental health support
- access available support.
These fact sheets are also available in 19 different languages on the department’s website.
Thank you for supporting the implementation of the restrictions and minimising the risks to our community. I hope that you and your families continue to stay safe and well.
Kind regards,
Debra Gibson
