Why is early learning important?2017-03-31T09:53:21+10:00

Scientific research into brain development shows the first five years of a child’s life are the most important for a child’s development. The research clearly shows that a child’s success at school is set in the first few years of life and that a high-quality early learning environment can prevent learning difficulties at school.

What is the difference between childcare and early learning?2017-03-31T09:52:54+10:00

Childcare is a term that suggests children are simply being cared for. Early learning is more than that. It is care plus education.

Early learning is a service where children are involved in a wide range of fun activities, where highly trained educators provide a caring and stimulating environment to help children thrive and develop a love of learning.

Do you have kindergarten for 3 and 4-year-olds?2017-03-31T09:52:21+10:00

We have a kindergarten teacher in each room, working with other qualified educators to deliver our high quality early learning program to all children at the Centre.

We do not distinguish between kindergarten and early learning. Instead we offer a high quality education program to all children, regardless of their age.

The early learning program is designed to meet the needs of each age group. Our 3 and 4-year-old children receive a program that is also tailored to prepare them for school.
