I warmly welcome you and your family to Doveton College Early Learning Centre. Beginning early learning is an important stage in every child’s journey, and our team is committed to ensuring that children and families feel welcomed, respected and supported from the very beginning.

It is a privilege to lead our Early Learning team and work in partnership with families to provide meaningful and positive learning experiences for every child.

Since beginning my career in early childhood education and care in 2012, I have developed a strong commitment to providing inclusive, high-quality education that supports every child to learn, grow and thrive.

I was born and raised in Italy, the home of the Reggio Emilia educational philosophy. This collaborative and community-centred approach recognises children as capable, curious, and active participants in their learning. It also values the important contributions of families, educators, and the wider community.

I believe every child is unique and brings their own strengths, interests, experiences and ways of understanding the world. By building meaningful relationships and listening carefully to children, educators can create rich learning opportunities and open a world of possibilities.

Early childhood education provides children with opportunities to develop confidence, independence, and important social and emotional skills. Through positive relationships with their peers and educators, children build strong foundations for a successful transition to school and lifelong learning.

I view teaching as a professional responsibility and a meaningful opportunity to make a lasting contribution to children’s learning, development, and wellbeing. I am committed to leading high-quality educational practice, strengthening partnerships with families and supporting educators to provide inclusive and engaging learning experiences for every child.
